Azusa Golden Days Parade Information

Golden Days Parade Route

There is no cost, but you might want to arrive early to get a good spot if you are going to be watching the parade.

Mustang Classic Information

Mustang way is closed from Sanderson Ave. Enter from Cawston Ave.

Directions to WVHS:

BE AWARE THAT THE ENTRANCE TO MUSTANG WAY FROM SANDERSON WILL BE BLOCKED OFF- ALL TRAFFIC MUST ENTER FROM THE INTERSECTION OF CAWSTON AND MUSTANG. THIS IS A REQUEST FROM OUR POLICE DEPARTMENT.

  • From East: Take I 10 west to 79 South. (Beaumont Ave exit) 79 S turns into Sanderson once you are in Hemet. Turn right onto Stetson. Left onto Cawston, then Left onto Mustang Way.
  • From West via I 15: (North also) Take I 10 East to 215 South (same as 60 east at first) to Newport Road in Menifee. Turn Left onto Newport Road. This turns into Domenigoni Parkway, continue into Hemet. Turn Left onto Warren road, once across the bridge turn right at the stop sign, and then right onto Mustang Way.
  • From West via 79 South: Take I 10 East to 79 South. (Beaumont Ave exit) 79 S turns into Sanderson once you are in Hemet. Turn right onto Stetson. Left onto Cawston, then Left onto Mustang Way.
  • From South: Take I15 North to 215 North. Exit Newport Road in Menifee, turn Right on Newport. This turns into Domenigoni Parkway, continue into Hemet. Turn Left onto Warren road, once across the bridge turn right at the stop sign, and then right onto Mustang Way.

PLEASE REALIZE THAT NO ONE WILL BE PERMITTED TO TURN ONTO MUSTANG WAY FROM SANDERSON AVENUE. THIS IS AT THE REQUEST OF OUR POLICE DEPARTMENT! EVERYONE MUST ENTER MUSTANG WAY FROM CAWSTON AVENUE.

Band Parking

Busses and equipment trucks will be parked ON Mustang Way in front of the school (the road is closed to traffic other than band traffic). You will be given space next to your vehicles to unload etc. NO PLAYING IN THIS AREA!!!! THE STADIUM IS VERY CLOSE!!! We will allow your busses, equipment trailers, a Director vehicle, and any vehicles that HAVE band equipment in them to park with the busses. Parents, and staff will not be permitted to park in this area, and MUST park in the spectator parking.

Spectator Parking

Spectator parking is the first entrance you will come to on Mustang Way. There is no charge for parking. All Spectator parking is on a first come first serve basis. If this fills up, there is additional parking located in nearby Brubaker Park, and there will be a path clearly marked through the park to the campus.

Admission

Spectator admission is $10.00. Under 12 is $5.00. Programs inside the competition will be $2.00. Admission gates will open 1 hour prior to the start of the first band’s performance. (2:30 pm) The spectator entrance is located next to the main office of the school. We accept Cash, Debit / Credit at admission. NO CHECKS

PLEASE NOTE THAT NO FOOT TRAFFIC OTHER THAN BANDS WILL BE ADMITTED THROUGH THE MAIN FIELD ENTRANCE GATE. ALL SPECTATORS AND RE-ENTERING BANDS / STAFF MEMBERS ETC. MUST USE THE SPECTATOR ENTRANCE. NO EXCEPTIONS.
