For the April parent meetibg, we will be having nominations for the e-board.
Here is a brief summary of the positions and job descriptions. There will be some additional positions available as well, as we have a very busy and exciting year coming up. All positions are open for nomination and election; nobody is automatically re-nominated or re-elected. Elections will be held at the May parents’ meeting. Even if you are unable to commit to an E-Board position, we always welcome parental support for our kids!
President: Will preside at all General Booster meetings and the Executive Board meetings. S/he shall be a member of all standing committees.
Vice President: Shall act as aide to the President, in the absence of the President, shall assume the duties of the President.
Secretary: Will keep an accurate record of the proceedings of all meetings of The Organization and of the Executive Board and shall be prepared to refer to minutes of any proceeding meetings, and shall be responsible for all necessary correspondence.
Treasurer: Shall receive all money of the organization and deposit them in the name of the organization in a bank approved by the Executive Board. Keep itemized account of receipts and disbursements, and share during meetings. Shall prepare necessary papers to be filed for tax purposes.
Volunteer Coordinator: Shall be responsible for acquiring the necessary adult chaperones for all occasions for which chaperones are required by policy of the School District. Will generate a list of volunteers and assign them according to the need of each event.
Fundraiser Coordinator: The Fundraising Coordinator will work with volunteers, parents, students, staff, and the community and will oversee all of the fundraising activities for the organization.
Uniform Chair: Shall see that the uniforms for all entertainment units are cleaned and maintained in good condition. This person will set schedules for alterations and fittings as needed, and coordinate with the Volunteer Coordinator parents to assist with these fittings. We are looking at having 2 Uniform Chairs this coming year due to the increased performances and the Tournament of Roses Parade.

Communications and calendar: This job involves managing the web site, sending out emails, and trying to maintain the calendar for parents to know what is going on.
