The Kaiser Catamount Pride Band & Color Guard will be holding its annual Summer Band and Guard program specifically tailored for incoming band and guard members. The Dates are June 8th – 25th and the times will be from 9:00am to 1:30pm. This year we will be holding our Color Guard tryouts during the summer band program. It is vital that all incoming members attend. We look forward to seeing you there.
It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I cordially invite your child to attend the Kaiser High School Band & Color Guard Camp. I’m Anthony J. Allmond, the Band Director at Kaiser, and I’m very excited about being apart of providing your child with an educational experience that will impact them for a lifetime. Kaiser’s band and color guard has enjoyed phenomenal success in its 23rd year of performing and looking forward to greater accomplishments.
Band & Color Guard Camp is very important, because it prepares students for the challenges of the upcoming football season and competitive events that they will be attending. It also allows the band to become a cohesive unit and gain confidence in their abilities. We will be performing at some competitions this year and doing halftime at the home football games.
Band Camp will be held at Kaiser High School on July 15th – July 23rd. It will begin at 8:00am and end at 2:45pm daily excluding weekends. Because of the significance of Band Camp it is mandatory that every student who is signed up for Band & Color Guard attend Band Camp. We will be having a Booster meeting TBA. We will need every parent’s help in making this club’s efforts successful. We will be discussing, parent monetary contributions, fund–raising, the band schedule, and other issues important to our organization. Please plan on attending this important meeting to insure that this will be a rewarding experience for both you and your child. I’m very much looking forward to meeting you and working with your child for the duration of their time at Kaiser High School.
Musically Yours,

Good luck!
From Mr. Allmond:
Well I’m writing this message heartbroken. The Governor has closed schools for the rest of the school year. I’m really concerned for my seniors and them not being able to complete the school year and complete the legacy of excellence that they’ve so formidably establish at the onset of the school year. Rest assured that you have performed your mission well and this class will be remembered for some time to come. We still are facing the task to get better as musicians on our distance learning endeavor. I know this is a rough time, but I really need you to keep practicing and growing as musicians.
Parent form for concert festival to be turned in.
After the Fontana Christmas parade, the 1st semester and marching season will be a wrap. This marching season provided our kids with wonderful experiences and many accolades. Some of them being Sweepstakes at Azusa Golden Days Parade, 2nd Place at the LA County Fair Marching Band Competition, along with many awards for performance excellence in color guard as well as a 1st place award at the San Gorgornio Field Show Competition.
The Christmas Concert was a rousing success. It was great to see so many of you come out and celebrate with us the beauty of the Christmas season and the accomplishments of our kids. I look forward to the upcoming concert season, winter guard season, and winter drumline season. All of these activities provide our kids with amazing experiences that will impact them for a lifetime. Please support us in our efforts to provide these experiences to our kids. We will be letting you know how you can be of service to them as the season unfolds. Have a wonderful Christmas season and prosperous new year!
