On Wednesday March 13th the orchestra, Concert Band, and Wind Ensemble will be performing their festival programs at Fontana High School for the District Southern Ca. School Band & Orchestra Association (SCSBOA) band and orchestra festival.
They will be adjudicated by a panel of music educators who will sign a rating to their performance based on excellence. The ratings are 1= Superior, 2= Excellent, 3= Good, 4= Fair.
Each ensemble will be performing very challenging repertoire that requires intense rehearsal and individual practice and our student musicians have been diligent in this regard. Kaiser has received multiple Superior ratings for each of its ensembles over 15 years. Our ensembles our some of the most admired in Southern Ca.
The performance times are 1:30pm, 3:00pm, and 5:00pm respectively. Please come out and support some of the most talented student musicians in SoCal on the 13th. We look forward to seeing you.

Anyone who has more to add, please email pictures to webmaster@kaiserband.org or upload videos to YouTube and then send the link to the same email address. Thank you!

The Tournament of Roses requires all participants submit their online release form. Please go to the following website and use the information provided to complete the form:
Their type of participant is:Opening Show Performer
Their organization is: Opening Spectacular presented by Honda
This information was sent home with your child today. Once you have finished the release form, please take a screenshot or picture of the completed form and either print it out and send it with your child tomorrow or send an email with the image attached to Mr. Allmond so we can track who has done it.
A medical release form was also sent home today. Please fill that out tonight and return it. I have attached it here too.
These forms are required by The Tournament of Roses. If they are not turned in, we will not be able to take the student with us to the parade.
These forms are required for alumni participating as well!
Thank you for your help with this. Please don’t forget, the online form MUST be submitted by tomorrow. It is the Tournament of Roses requiring this so we cannot make exceptions. Non-compliance will mean the student or alumnus is out of the parade.
Just a reminder that all band students need to be clean shaven for parades and band reviews. No makeup, no nail polish and no jewelry. Hair needs to be short above the collar or put into a shako bun (everybody regardless of gender) and it all needs to fit inside the shako. If they don’t want the parent volunteers touching their hair, they need to have it in perfect condition.
Also, they should be clean and wearing deodorant.
Please make sure the kids eat breakfast. Arcadia is a long parade and we have a history of kids passing out because they haven’t eaten.
